First the authors consider the \(2\times 2\) difference system \[ [D]:\Delta v(n)= \beta(n)z(n),\;\Delta z(n)= \gamma(n) v(n), \] where \(\beta(n)\), \(\gamma(n)\in C\). Under certain summability conditions on \(\beta(n)\) and \(\gamma(n)\), a result of asymptotic summation of system \([D]\) is given. Then, assuming that system \[ [A]:\Delta x(n)=p(n)y(n),\;\Delta y(n)= q(n)x (n) \] is nonoscillatory and that its recessive and dominant solutions are known, asymptotic formulae of the solution of the perturbed system \[ [B]:\Delta u(n) =p(n) \omega(n),\;\Delta \omega (n) =\bigl[q(n) +r(n)\bigr] u(n) \] are obtained. Several examples and applications are shown. Finally some new asymptotic formulas of difference equations as \(\Delta^2 x=q(n)x\) and \(\Delta^2 x=(\lambda^2 +q(n))x\), \(0<\lambda<1\), for \(q\) small are presented.
