Let \(M\) be a complex manifold of dimension \(n\), \(\pi:E\to M\) be a holomorphic vector bundle of rank \(r\) over \(M\) with each fibre \(E_z\) being a complex vector space of complex dimension \(r\), and let \(p:PE\to M\) be the projective bundle of \(E\) over \(M\). A complex Finsler structure \(F\) defined on \(E\) is said to be convex if the Hermitian matrix \((F_{ij})\) defined by \(F_{ij}=\partial^2F/(\partial\xi^i\partial\overline\xi^j)\), where \(\xi^i(i,j=1,2,3,\dots,r)\) is a homogeneous coordinate system for fibres \(E_z\), is positive definite. We call \((E,F)\) a convex Finsler vector bundle. This paper is a sequel to the author's earlier work [\textit{T. Aikou}, Rep. Fac. Sci., Kagoshima Univ., Math., Phys. Chem. 24, 9-25 (1991; Zbl 0783.53019)]. Considering the holomorphic vector bundle with a convex Finsler structure \(F\), the author introduces a connection called partial connection on the convex Finsler bundle. He then deduces the curvature form with respect to the partial connection and gives the local version (i.e., \(R_{i\overline j\alpha\overline\beta)})\) thereof. Thereafter, the author takes into consideration the negative holomorphic vector bundles and discusses \textit{S. Kobayashi}'s theorems [Nagoya Math. J. 57, 153-166 (1975; Zbl 0326.32016)] in this setting. Finally, the author goes on to prove vanishing theorems for holomorphic sections of a complex Finsler bundle and for cohomology groups. These results are, in fact, a version of \textit{S. Kobayashi}'s theorems [`Differential geometry of complex vector bundles' (1987; Zbl 0708.53002)] for the curvature tensor \(R_{i\overline j\alpha\overline\beta}\) used in place of \(\overset {K} R_{i\overline j\alpha\overline\beta}\) due to Kobayashi.
