The regularity of \(p\)-harmonic maps is studied by using the work of \textit{R. Hardt} and \textit{F. H. Lin}. For the regularity theory, the author uses a hybrid inequality that relates the norm of a minimizer and its gradient. This inequality is a corollary of an ``extension'' lemma which states roughly that if a function is defined on the boundary of a set and satisfies a small oscillation condition then it can be extended to the inside of that set with a particular bound for the energy.
