Isovariant maps and the Borsuk-Ulam theorem (Q1173919)

The author shows that there is a large class of compact Lie groups \(G\) with the property that if \(f: V\rightarrow W\) is any \(G\)-isovariant map of \(G\)-modules where \(V^ G=\{0\}\), then \(\dim V\leq\dim W\).
