Coincidence of limit loads (Q1173938)

The paper deals with a limit load analysis. An equivalent expression of the limit state depends on an asymptotic internal energy of the body under study. Special attention is devoted to the case when the internal energy is a convex function of deformations (elasto-plastic material behaviour). The means of convex analysis and convex programming are used. A simple example is discussed.
