Let \(X_ n\) be a classical complex simple Lie algebra of types \(B_ n\), \(C_ n\), \(D_ n\) and \(U_ q(X_ n)\) be its quantized universal enveloping algebra. An irreducible representation of \(U_ q(X_ n)\) with highest weight \(N\Lambda_ 1\) \((N\in \mathbb{Z}_{\geq 0}\), where \(\Lambda_ 1\) is the highest weight of the vector representation) is called ``symmetric tensor representation of \(U_ q(X_ n)\)''. The aim of the paper is to find a basis of symmetric tensor representations of quantum deformations of Lie algebras \(B_ n\), \(C_ n\), \(D_ n\). This basis is orthogonal and consists of weight vectors. The action of \(U_ q(X_ n)\) is given explicitly. Such constructions arise from finite dimensional irreducible reprsentations of \({\mathfrak gl}(n,\mathbb{C})\) (Gelfand- Tsetlin basis) and are used to obtain the Wigner coefficients for the tensor product of an arbitrary finite dimensional irreducible representation and a vector representation.
