    In this paper the well posedness and stability of the following problem is studied: \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} &w_{tt}+\Delta^ 2w=0 &&\quad\text{ in } (0,T)\times \Omega, \\ &w(0,\cdot)=w_ 0, w_ t(0,\cdot)=w_ 1 &&\quad\text{ in } \Omega, \\ &w\mid_ \Sigma=0 &&\quad\text{ in } (0,T)\times\Gamma=\Sigma, \\ &{\partial w\over \partial \nu}\mid_{\Sigma_ 0}=0 &&\quad\text{ in } (0,T)\times\Gamma_ 0=\Sigma_ 0, \\ &{\partial w\over \partial \nu}\mid_{\Sigma_ 1}=[\Delta(A^{-1}wt)] &&\quad\text{ in } (0,T)\times\Gamma_ 1=\Sigma_ 1.\end{alignedat} \] Here \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) with smooth boundary \(\Gamma=\Gamma_ 0\cup\Gamma_ 1\). The operator \(A\) is defined by \(Af=\Delta^ 2f\), \(D(A)=H^ 4(\Omega)\cap H^ 2_ 0(\Omega)\). The term \(\Delta(A^{-1}w_ t)\) is interpreted as a feed-back operator. This feed-back acts in the Neumann boundary condition. It is shown that this problem is uniformly exponentially stable if \(\Gamma_ 0=\emptyset\), and more generally, if \(\Gamma_ 0\) is defined by a certain star-shapedness condition.
