    Suppose \(g\) is a reductive complex Lie algebra with non-compact real form \(g_ R\). Let \(g_ R=k_ R\oplus p_ R\) be a Cartan decomposition of \(g_ R\) and let \(g=k\oplus p\) be the corresponding direct sum of the complexifications. Let \(G\) be the adjoint group of \(g\) and \(K_ \theta=\{a\in G:\theta a=a\theta\}\), where \(\theta\) is the Lie algebra automorphism of order 2 which is 1 on \(k\) and \(-1\) on \(p\). Let \(S\) denote the symmetric algebra on \(p\) and \(J=\{u\in S:au=u\) for every \(a\in K_ \theta\}\). Let \(J_ +=\{u\in J:\partial(u)=0\}\). Also let \(J'\) be the ring of \(K\)-invariant polynomials and set \(J'_ +=\{f\in J':f(0)=0\}\). Then define \({\mathcal O}_ 0(p):=\{F\in{\mathcal O}(p):\;\partial(u)F=0\) for any \(u\in J_ +\}\) and \({\mathcal N}:=\{x\in p:\;h(x)=0\) for any \(h\in J'_ +\}\). The purpose of this paper is to prove that the restriction map \({\mathcal R}:F\mapsto F\mid_{\mathcal R}\) of \({\mathcal O}_ 0(p)\) onto \({\mathcal O}({\mathcal N})\) is an isomorphism for any reductive complex Lie algebra \(g\), i.e. the holomorphic functions in \({\mathcal O}_ 0\) are determined by their values on \({\mathcal N}\). In the case \(g=so(d,1)\), \(d\geq 3\) this had been previously proved in the paper Tokyo J. Math. 10, 93-105 (1987; Zbl 0641.32005) of the first author and \textit{M. Morimoto}.
