Let \(R\) be a commutative Noetherian ring with identity and \(I\) a regular ideal of \(R\) with integral closure \(I_ a\). It is well known that: \((a) I^{n+k}:I^ n=I^ k\) for all large \(k\) and \(n\geq0; \) (b) if \(I\) is principal and \(H\) any ideal of \(R\), then \(I^{n+j}H^ m:I^ j=I^ nH^ m=I^ n(I^ jH^ m: I^ j)\) for all \(m\geq0\), \(j\geq0\), and \(n\geq1\); and (c) if \(R\) is local and analytically unramified, then \((I^{n+k})_ a=I^ n(I^ k)_ a\) for all large \(k\) and \(n\geq0\). --- This paper generalizes the above results to the case where \(H\) and \(I\) are finite collections of Noetherian filtrations on \(R\). As an application, it is shown that a semi-local ring \(R\) is analytically unramified if and only if for every regular ideal \(I\), there is a regular ideal \(K\) such that \((I^ n)_ a=I^ nK: K\) for all \(n\geq1\).
