Discussed in this note is the complex autonomous system \[ \begin{aligned} dz/dT=&z+a_{02}w^ 2+a_{30}z^ 3+a_{21}z^ 2w+a_{12}zw^ 2,\\ dw/dT=&-w-b_{02}z^ 2-b_{30}w^ 3-b_{21}w^ 2z-b_{12}wz^ 2 \end{aligned}\tag{1} \] where \(z\), \(w\), and \(T\) are complex variables, \(a_{k\ell}\) and \(b_{k\ell}\) are complex coefficients. The author gives formulas for the first seven values of singular point for the origin of system (1). A number of results follows from these formulas. For example, system (1) has a regular integral in a neighborhood of the origin iff some conditions on the coefficients hold. The author considers the real plane cubic autonomous differential system \[ \begin{aligned} dx/dt=&-y- B_{02}x^ 2+2A_{02}xy+B_{02}y^ 2-(B_{21}x+A_{21}y)(x^ 2+y^ 2)\\&- (B_{30}+B_{12})x^ 3-(3A_{30}-A_{12})x^ 2y+(3B_{30}-B_{12})xy^ 2+(A_{30}+A_{12})y^ 3,\\ dy/dt=&x+A_{02}x^ 2+2B_{02}xy-A_{02}y^ 2+(A_{21}x- B_{12}y)(x^ 2=y^ 2) \\&+ (A_{30}+A_{12})x^ 3-(3B_{30}- B_{12})x^ 2y-(3A_{30}-A_{12})xy^ 2+(B_{30}+B_{12})y^ 3,\end{aligned}\tag{2.} \] He gives conditions for the coefficients so that the origin of system (2) is a centre or a weak focus of order 6.
