A subgroup of finite group \(G\) is called quasinormal (\(\pi\)-quasinormal) in \(G\) if it permutes with every subgroup (Sylow subgroup) of \(G\). The authors extend some results of S. Srinivasan and of M. Ramadan. Theorem 3.2. Let \(H\) be a normal subgroup of solvable group \(G\). Then \(G\) is supersolvable if and only if \(G/H\) is supersolvable and all maximal subgroups of the Sylow subgroups of \(\hbox{Fit} H\) are normal in \(G\). Theorem 4.2. If \(G/H\) and \(H\) are supersolvable and all maximal subgroups of the Sylow subgroups of \(\hbox{Fit} H\) are \(\pi\)-quasinormal in \(G\), then \(G\) is supersolvable.
