The author gives a new recurrent algorithm for a transformation of a double power series into the corresponding branching continued fractions with linear partial numerators. Necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of the algorithm are given and some results about convergence of the corresponding branching continued fractions are obtained. All proofs are presented.
