A characterization of \(\sigma\)-state spaces of orthomodular lattices (Q1177700)

Let \(P\) be an orthomodular poset and let \({\mathcal S}(P)\) (resp. \({\mathcal S}_ \sigma(P))\) denote the space of all states on \(P\) (resp., the space of all \(\sigma\)-additive states on \(P\)). The authors find an interesting convexity-theoretic characterization of \({\mathcal S}_ \sigma(P)\) in \({\mathcal S}(P)\) \(({\mathcal S}(P)\) is exactly an \(s\)-semi-exposed face in \({\mathcal S}(P))\).
