This paper deals with modules over representation-finite trivial extension algebras, already studied by several authors (see, for instance, \textit{D. Hughes} and \textit{J. Waschbüsch} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 46, 347-364 (1983; Zbl 0488.16021)] or \textit{I. Assem}, \textit{D. Happel} and \textit{O. Roldán} [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 33, 235-242 (1984; Zbl 0564.16027)]). Here, it is first shown that if \(\Lambda\) is a representation-finite self-injective algebra, then \(\Lambda\) is a trivial extension if and only if its Auslander-Reiten quiver is of the form \((\mathbb{Z}\Delta)_{\mathcal C}/\langle\tau^{h-1}\rangle\), where \(\Delta\) is the Cartan class of \(\Lambda\), \({\mathcal C}\) a configuration of \(\mathbb{Z}\Delta\), \(\tau\) the translation of \((\mathbb{Z}\Delta)_{\mathcal C}\) and \(h\) the Coxeter number of \(\Delta\). The main results are criteria for the isomorphism of indecomposable modules over a representation-finite trivial extension, namely the author shows that a (non-simple) indecomposable module is uniquely determined by its top and its socle, or alternatively, by its radical, or its socle, series. These results are then shown to hold for indecomposables over a self-injective algebra of Cartan class \(\mathbb{E}_ i\) \((i=6,7,8)\). As a further corollary, the author proves that an indecomposable over a representation-finite trivial extension is uniquely determined by its dimension-vector and its top (or its socle).
