Maluta's question on sequence coefficients in Banach spaces (Q1178423)

In the investigations of normal structure of Banach spaces several numerical characteristics of Banach spaces were introduced. The author proved that the product of the weakly convergent sequence coefficient introduced by \textit{W. L. Bynum} [Pac. J. Math. 86, No. 2, 427-436 (1980; Zbl 0442.46018)] and the coefficient \(D(X)\) introduced by \textit{E. Maluta} [ibid. 111, No. 2, 357-369 (1984; Zbl 0495.46012)] equals 1. This result answered the question posed in the paper of E. Maluta (remark 5.2).
