We consider generalized minimal foliations of the \((n+1)\)-dimensional torus \(T^{n+1}\) whose leaves minimize a given variational integral. The leave space of such a generalized foliation is homeomorphic to the interval or to a Cantor set. Moreover each leaf lies in the universal covering \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) within a finite distance to an affine hyperplane \((x,\alpha x) \subset \mathbb{R}^ n\times \mathbb{R}\) with certain \(\alpha\in \mathbb{R}^ n\), the rotation vector of the foliation. We define the conjugation-function \(U_ \alpha(x,\theta)\) mapping the leaves \((x,\alpha x+\beta)\) of the affine foliation into the minimal leaves \((x,U_ \alpha(x,\alpha x+\beta)\)) of the generalized foliation. It is shown, that this conjugation-function \(U_ \alpha\) itself is a minimal solution of a degenerative variational problem on \(T^{n+1}\). If \(\alpha \in \mathbb{R}^ n\backslash\mathbb{Q}^ n\), the function \(U_ \alpha\) is characterized in a unique way as (discontinuous) limit of the minimal solutions of a regularized variational problem.
