Forced oscillations of singular dynamical systems with an application to the restricted three body problem (Q1178494)

The forced dynamical systems which are considered generalize the elliptic restricted three bodies problem (rtbp) with arbitrary masses of the two primaries. The author proves the existence of infinitely many classical (noncollision) periodic solutions. These solutions appear as minima of a functional on an open subset of a suitable Hilbert space associated to the problem. The paper contains also a review of some important results on the existence of periodic motions in the rtbp.
