Let \(A\) be a finite dimensional graded (by \(\mathbb{Z}\)) associative algebra over a field \(k\) and \(A\)-mod (resp. \(A\)-gr) the category of \(A\)-modules (resp. graded \(A\)-modules). A characterization of the types of simple objects of these categories is given, then it is proved that any projective \(A\)-module may be graded. Keeping in mind the classical Brauer reciprocity, a similar result is proved for each of the categories \(A\)- mod and \(A\)-gr. As special cases, the reciprocities of Humphreys (in the category of \({\mathfrak g}\)-modules, \(\mathfrak g\) being a modular Lie algebra) and Jantzen (in the category of modules for the hyperalgebra of the \(n\)- th Frobenius kernel of a semisimple algebraic group scheme) are recovered. There are also obtained new results for finite dimensional graded restricted Lie algebras.
