    Let \(A\) be an operator system and \(\varphi\) be a selfadjoint completely bounded map of \(A\) to \(B(H)\), then there exist two completely positive maps \(\varphi_ 1\) and \(\varphi_ 2\) such that \(\varphi=\varphi_ 1- \varphi_ 2\) with \(\|\varphi\|_{cb}=\| \varphi_ 1+\varphi_ 2\|\). This fact is due to Wittstock. The author tries to get an extension of this result, he obtaines the following: Let \(A\) be a \(C^*\)-algebra and \(B(H)\) be all bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space \(H\). Suppose \(p\) is a finite dimensional projection. (1) Let \(V\in pB(H)\otimes_ h A\otimes_ h B(H)p\) such that \(V=V^*\) then \(\| V\|_ h=\inf\{\| V_ 1+V_ 2\|_ h\): \(V=V_ 1- V_ 2\), \(V_ i\geq 0\) \((i=1,2)\}\). (2) Let \(\widetilde {\varphi}\in(pB(H)\otimes_ h A\otimes_ h B(H)p)^ d\) such that \(\widetilde {\varphi}=\widetilde {\varphi}^*\), then \(\|\widetilde {\varphi}\|=\min\{\| \widetilde {\varphi}_ 1+\widetilde {\varphi}_ 2\|\): \(\widetilde {\varphi}= \widetilde {\varphi}_ 1 -\widetilde {\varphi}_ 2\), \(\widetilde {\varphi}_ i\geq 0\) \((i=1,2)\}\), where \(\|\cdot\|_ h\) is the Haagerup norm. The proof is done through numerous lemmas and propositions.
