The notion of \(n\)-parameter sets comes from a paper by \textit{R. L. Graham} and \textit{B. L. Rothschild} in Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 159, 257-292 (1971; Zbl 0233.05003). The authors of the present paper showed in Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 291, 189-201 (1985; Zbl 0577.05008) that Baire sets of \(k\)- parameter words are Ramsey. In the present paper they show that measurable sets of ascending \(k\)-parameter words are Ramsey, whereas in general measurable sets of \(k\)-parameter words are not Ramsey.
