If \(F\rightarrow E\rightarrow S^{m + 1}\) is a fibration, then there is an ``action'' \(\mu : S^ m\times F\rightarrow F\). Given an Adams-Hilton model \({\mathcal A}(F)\) of \(F\), the author constructs a model for the product \(S^ m\times F\). Given a model \({\mathcal A}(S^ m\times F)\rightarrow {\mathcal A}(F)\) of \(\mu\), a model for the total space \(E\) is computed. Conversely, given a model of \(E\), the author describes a procedure, how to obtain a model of \(F\). This algebra is used to study the fibre of the pinch map \(\rho':P^{m + 1}(k)\rightarrow S^{m + 1}\) of a Moore space and more generally, so called pinch extensions, i.e. extensions of \(\rho'\) over some space \(E\). Under certain conditions, elements occurring in the homology of the loop space of the fibre can be identified as iterated Samelson products of mod \(p\) spherical elements.
