    A Yang-Baxter operator \(R\in\text{End}(V\otimes V)\) induces operators \(R_ i\in\text{End}(V^{\otimes n})\), \(1\leq i\leq n-1\). The quotient of \(\otimes V\) by the ideal generated by \(\{v\otimes w-R(v\otimes w)\}\) is called the \(r\)-symmetric algebra \(S_ RV\). The differential calculus of differential forms \(\Omega_ RV\) over \(S_ RV\) constructed in this paper is a generalization of the differential calculus studied by other authors [\textit{W. Pusz} and \textit{S. L. Woronowicz}, Rep. Math. Phys. 27, No. 2, 231-257 (1989; Zbl 0707.47039)]. Now a Yang-Baxter operator \(R\) on \(V\) induces the Yang-Baxter operator \(\tilde R\) on \(\text{End} V\). The quantum matrix algebra is \(M_ RV=S_{\tilde R}(\text{End} V)\). The author proves that the natural coaction \(S_ RV\to M_ RV\otimes S_ RV\) can be extended to the coaction \(\Omega_ RV\to M_ RV\otimes\Omega_ RV\).
