An explicit formula for the \(B\)-spline control points for Hermite interpolation is derived using polar forms. The same formula was obtained by \textit{M. S. Mummy} using the Boor-Fix dual functionals [ibid. 6, No. 2, 177-179 (1989; Zbl 0671.65007)].
