The group \(G=(\mathbb{R}^ +\times \text{SO}(n))\wedge\mathbb{R}^ n\), \(n\geq 3\), whose elements are the triples \((\delta,A,a)\), \(\delta\in\mathbb{R}^ +:=]0,+\infty[\), \(A\in\text{SO}(n)\), \(a\in\mathbb{R}^ n\), and the multiplication is given by \((\alpha,A,a)(\alpha',A',a')=(\alpha\alpha',AA',a+\alpha A(a'))\), is considered. Using Mackey's methods, the author determines the class of an infinite-dimensional unitary irreducible representation of \(G\), which, afterwards is supposed to be the linear part of a nonlinear representation of \(G\). It is proved that \(H^ 1(G,L_ m(E))=0\) for all integers \(m\geq 2\), where \(E\) denotes the set of differentiable functions with compact support on the orbit, and where \(L_ m(E)\) denotes the space of continuous, symmetric \(m\)-linear maps from \(E^ m\) to \(E\).
