[Part I, cf. ibid. 12, 41-54 (1987; Zbl 0637.22010).] This paper intends to extend some aspects of the basic work of \textit{R. P. Langlands} on the theory of Eisenstein series [as e.g., On the functional equations satisfied by Eisenstein series (Lect. Notes Math. 544) (1976; Zbl 0332.10018)] to forms with values in a possibly infinite dimensional smooth representation of the underlying group \(G\). As also noted by the author the changes are not significant. Using the relation between the spectrum of an arithmetic group and its cohomology, this work is motivated by the desire to consider the cohomology of arithmetic groups with possibly infinite-dimensional coefficient systems.
