Let \(N\) be a zero-symmetric right near-ring and let \(G\) be an \(N\)-group. An ideal \(K\) of \(G\) is said to be an \(N\)-simple direct summand ideal (NSDS ideal, in short) if \(K\) is \(N\)-simple and there exists an ideal \(I\) of \(G\) such that \(G=K\oplus I\). \(K\) is said to be NSDS-free if \(K\) contains no NSDS ideal of \(G\). In this paper the author shows that if every hollow \(N\)-subgroup of \(G\) is an ideal of \(G\) and \(G\) has finite spanning dimension \(Sd(G)\), then (i) an ideal \(K\) of \(G\) is a supplement if and only if \(K\) has finite spanning dimension and \(Sd(G)=Sd(K)+Sd(G/K)\); and (ii) there exist \(N\)-simple ideals \(H_ i\), \(1\leq i\leq t\) and an NSDS-free ideal \(P\) of \(G\) such that \(G=H_ 1\oplus\cdots\oplus H_ t\oplus P\), and this decomposition of \(G\) is unique in the sense if there exist \(N\)-simple ideals \(K_ i\), \(1\leq i\leq s\) and an NSDS-free ideal \(Q\) of \(G\) such that \(G=K_ 1\oplus\cdots\oplus K_ s\oplus Q\) then \(P\cong Q\), \(s=t\) and after some reordering \(H_ i\cong K_ i\), \(1\leq i\leq t\).
