The author introduces a Clifford structure on a higher dimensional manifold to obtain a Clifford-valued formulation of a generalization of Einstein's non-symmetric unified field theory proposed by \textit{K. Borchsenius} [Phys. Rev. D 13, 2707 (1976); Nuovo Cimento 46, 403-412 (1978)]. It is claimed, that this theory includes gravitation and electromagnetism or Yang-Mills fields, and that in the author's version, gravitation corresponds to the real part of a Clifford-valued geometry with electromagnetism, or Yang-Mills fields, corresponding to the imaginary part. Unfortunately, the author's analysis is based on two unpublished pre-prints of him dated from 1987-1988, and hence it is very difficult to obtain a clear view, of what is involved in his approach.
