The paper is concerned with the continuous or differentiable dependence of the solutions of a general \(n\)-th order, non-autonomous, nonlinear difference equation \[ u(m+n)=f(m,u(m),u(m+1),\dots,u(m+n-1)),\;m\in\mathbb{Z} \] upon initial or boundary values. After a presentation (without proof) of the (obvious) results for the initial values the authors derive the results for the boundary values. In this case they assume the equation to be disconjugate on \(\mathbb{Z}\). For the differentiability they also suppose that the variational equation is disconjugate along every solution of the given equation.
