Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of unique almost periodic solutions of integro-differential equations of the form (*) \(x'(t)=A(t)x(t)+\int_{-\infty}^ t C(s-t)x(s)ds+f(t)\) and \(x'(t)=A(t)x(t)+\int_{-\infty}^ t D(s-t,x(s))ds+r(t,x(t))\), where \(A\) and \(C\) are continuous matrices such that \(A(t+T)=A(t)\), \(T\geq 0\) and \(D\), \(f\) and \(r\) are continuous vectors. The following result is obtained for (*): If \(A(t)\) is non critical with respect to \(AP\) (that is, the only solution in \(AP\) of \(x'=A(t)x\) is \(x=0\)), where \(AP\) is the set of all almost periodic functions, and \(KG<1\), where \(G=\int_{-\infty}^ 0| C(u)| du<\infty\), then (*) has a unique almost periodic solution for every \(f\in AP\).
