These three volumes present the collected mathematical papers of the outstanding mathematician Nathan Jacobson who is well known for his important research contributions on associative rings, Lie algebras, Jordan algebras, Galois theory, Pseudo linear transformations and topological algebra. The research papers arranged in chronological order in volume 1 and 2 and in the first part of volume 3. The expository papers appearing in chronological order is the last part of volume 3. Volume 1 contains the paper published between 1910 to 1947, volume 2 covers the period 1947 to 1965, volume 3 covers the period 1965 to 1989. The division of time interval covered in each volume are made into subintervals proceeded by an amount of Jacobson's personal history during this period and a commentary on the research papers published in this period. The total number of papers published in the different research journals is ninety-eight. There are five papers on (Ore) Skew polynomial domains, three papers on topological algebra, twenty-two papers on Lie algebras and general non associative algebras, seven papers on Galois theory, ten papers on general structure theory of rings, thirty-five papers on Jordan rings, eight papers on Associative algebras and eight papers on Miscellaneous topics. [The complete version of the review can be obtained from the Editor.]
