Let \(M\) be the set of all semigroup varieties, \({\mathfrak B}_ 1,{\mathfrak B}_ 2\in M\) and \({\mathfrak K} = \{A\text{ Wr}^ 1B\mid A\in{\mathfrak B}_ 1\text{ and }B\in{\mathfrak B}_ 2\}\), where \(A\text{ Wr}^ 1B\) denotes the extended standard wreath product of semigroups \(A\) and \(B\). The product \({\mathfrak B}_ 1\cdot {\mathfrak B}_ 2\) is defined as the class \(QS{\mathfrak K}\), where \(Q\) \([S]\) is the closure operator under isomorphic images [subsemigroups]. The main results are the following: 1) \((M,\cdot)\) is a semigroup. 2) The varieties defined by one of the following identities: \(S_{\infty \infty}: x = x\); \(S_{ll} : x_ 1x_ 2\dots x_ l = x_ 1x_ 2\dots x_ lx_{l+1}\); \(S_{nl} : x_ 1x_ 2\dots x_ nx_{n+1} = x_ 1x_ 2 \dots x_ nx_{l+1} \dots x_{2l-n}\); where \(n\) and \(l\) are integers, \(0 \leq n < l\), and only they are idempotents of the semigroup \(M\). 3) The set \(A\) of all supercommutative semigroup varieties (i.e. semigroup varieties containing the variety of commutative semigroups) is a prime ideal of \(M\) and \(A\) is a semigroup with zero multiplication.
