This book is the sequel of ``Locally semialgebraic spaces'' by \textit{H. Delfs} and the author [Lect. Notes Math. 1173 (1985; Zbl 0582.14006)] and is part of the project of the author to do general topology in the context of semi-algebraic spaces over arbitrary real closed fields. In the context of locally semi-algebraic spaces some topological constructions are impossible: infinite CW-complex, mapping spaces, loop spaces. Weakly semi-algebraic spaces are an answer to the question of infinite CW-complexes. CW-complexes over a real closed field R will be suitable inductive limits of polytopes, together with cell structures. More generally ``weakly semialgebraic spaces'' are inductive limits of affine semialgebraic spaces. - Weakly semi-algebraic spaces have nice homotopy properties, as explained in chapter 5. Homology and cohomology of weakly semi-algebraic spaces is studied in chapter 6. Simplicial spaces are introduced in chapter 7.
