We quote from the introduction: ``The classical theorem of Nevanlinna states that non-constant holomorphic mappings \(f,g:\mathbb{C}\to\mathbb{P}_ 1(\mathbb{C})\) satisfying \(f^{-1}(a_ i)=g^{-1}(a_ i)\) with multiplicities for distinct five points \(a_ 1,\dots,a_ 5\in\mathbb{P}_ 1(\mathbb{C})\) are identical. The unicity theorems of this type for holomorphic (or meromorphic) mappings were studied by several authors [\textit{H. Cartan}, Mathematica 7, 5-31 (1933; Zbl 0007.41503), Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 265, 349-358 (1981; Zbl 0476.32034), Nagoya Math. J. 71, 13-24 (1978; Zbl 0358.32021); ibid. 75, 71-85 (1979; Zbl 0431.32021); ibid. 83, 153-181 (1981; Zbl 0431.32032), \textit{E. M. Schmidt}, Math. Z. 120, 61-92 (1971; Zbl 0207.373)].'' ``In this paper, we prove some unicity theorems for meromorphic mappings of a finite analytic covering space over \(\mathbb{C}^ n\) into a smooth toroidal compactification of a locally symmetric space, by making use of a Second Main Theorem the author proved in Kodai Math. J. 14, No. 3, 320-334 (1991; see the paper below)''.
