Direct sums of almost relative injective modules (Q1191280)

The question under what conditions a module \(V\) (\(R\) a ring with identity; all modules right unitary \(R\)-modules) is almost \(\sum_ j\oplus U_ j\)-injective if it is almost \(U_ j\)-injective for all \(j=1,\dots,n\), is investigated in this paper. Answers to the question have been given by various authors, including the author of this paper, under rather stringent conditions. Here the author succeeds to extend and generalize his previous results by dropping the condition that the \(U_ j\) be artinian from an earlier paper.
