Let \((X,0)\subset(\mathbb{C}^ 2,0)\) be a plane curve singularity, \([X,0]\) is the topological equivalence class of \((X,0)\), \(M[X,0]:=[X,0]/\cong\) where \(\cong\) is the analytic equivalence. The author finds all plane curve singularities which are taut (resp. pseudo taut), i.e. \(M[X,0]\) is a point (resp. denumerable). At the end there is the whole list of these singularities and their resolution graphs. The main point is Theorem 1.6: If \((X,0)\) is equisingularly rigid (i.e. every equisingular deformation is analytically a product), then, it is pseudo taut. The proof consists in three steps: The author makes a list of singularities and verifies pseudo tautness for all of them, then it appears that these singularities are the only candidates to be equisingularly rigid: the two cases of reducible and irreducible singularities are studied separately. As an application, the author determines all the equisingularly rigid double points of surfaces. The main references are classical works of Arnol'd, Teissier and Zariski on deformation theory.
