Knowles' generalization of Lyapunoff's theorem tells us that the range of a vector-valued measure \(\mu\) defined on a Boolean \(\sigma\)-algebra \(B\) is convex if for every \(e\in B\backslash\{0\}\) the restriction of \(\mu\) to \(\{x\in B:x\leq e\}\) is not injective. The authors generalize this theorem for measures with values in a commutative topological group without elements of order 2.
