Symmetry is one of the basic properties of Nature, and generally speaking almost all objects in Nature are symmetric with certain degrees of symmetry, where the degrees may be in, say, the interval [0,1]. In considering the universality of symmetry and ``weak'' symmetry, the author proposes a fuzzy symmetry concept based on fuzzy set theory, which is a new symmetry concept for forms whose symmetries are only approximate. I think that the idea of fuzzy symmetry is very interesting not only for biophysics or biology, but also for other fields. First, the author designs the membership function for symmetry; second, he gives a Fourier-series representation of forms, and last, by the representation, he studies the degree of symmetry. Also some interesting examples are investigated.
