The authors examine statistical management and analysis of fuzzy experimental data. In particular, and on the basis of the probability of fuzzy events [see \textit{L. A. Zadeh}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 23, 421-427 (1968; Zbl 0174.490)], the Kullback-Leibler information contained in the fuzzy data is quantified. Then, that measure of information is used to compare experiments providing fuzzy data and to determine the minimum increase in sample size to ``remove'' the loss of information due to fuzziness. The study is completed with several illustrative examples.
