The author presents facts concerning functions almost continuous in the sense of Stallings. Among the problems (connected with this class of transformations) considered by him one can distinguish the following questions: --- Investigations of relationships between this class of transformations and functions almost continuous in the sense of Husain and Darboux-like functions. --- Local characterization. --- Restrictions and extensions. --- Compositions, Cartesian products and diagonals of functions. --- Limits of sequences and algebraic operations for functions almost continuous in the sense of Stallings. --- Stationary and determining sets.
