    Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded convex open subset of \(\mathbb{R}^ n\), regular of class \(C^ 2\), \(N \in \mathbb{Z}_ +\), for \(u:\Omega \to \mathbb{R}^ N\) let \(H(u)=(\partial_{ij}u:i,j=1,\ldots,n)\), \(a:\Omega \times \mathbb{R}^{n^ 2N} \to \mathbb{R}^ N\) a Carathéodory function such that \(a(.,0) =0\) and there exist \(\alpha\), \(\gamma\), \(\delta>0\) with \(\gamma+\delta<1\) such that \[ \left| \sum^ n_{i=1}\xi_{ii}-\alpha \bigl( a(x,\xi+\tau)-a(x,\tau) \bigr) \right| \leq \gamma | \xi |+\delta \left| \sum^ n_{i=1}\xi_{ii} \right| \] for every \(\xi\), \(\tau \in \mathbb{R}^{n^ 2N}\). Then: Theorem 1. Let \(\lambda \geq 0\), \(u \in H^ 2(\Omega) \cap H^ 1_ 0 (\Omega)\) is a solution of \(a \bigl( .,H(u) \bigr)=\lambda u\) if and only if \(u\) is a solution of \(\Delta u=\alpha \lambda u\) and hence \(u=0\). Theorem 2. Let \(b:\Omega \times \mathbb{R}^{N+n^ 2N} \to \mathbb{R}^ N\) be a Carathéodory function such that \(b(.,u,\nabla u) \in L^ 2 (\Omega)\) if \(u \in H^ 2(\Omega)\) and \(\langle b(.,u,\nabla u)-b(.,v,\nabla v)\), \(\Delta(u-v) \rangle \leq 0\) for \(u\), \(v \in H^ 2(\Omega) \cap H^ 1_ 0(\Omega)\), then there is a (unique) solution \(u \in H^ 2(\Omega) \cap H^ 1_ 0(\Omega)\) of \(a \bigl( .,H(u) \bigr)=b(.,u,\nabla u)\) if there is a (unique) solution \(u \in H^ 2(\Omega) \cap H^ 1_ 0(\Omega)\) of \(\Delta u=\alpha b(.,u,\nabla u)\).
