The purpose of this paper is to prove the uniqueness theorem in linear elastodynamics. But the whole presentation is burdened with the symbols and terminologies of the abstract algebra so much so that the little substance of the paper has been shrouded in mystery. Most of the energies has been towards the explanations of these symbols and terminologies. Also, the uniqueness theorem has not been established by direct method of proof, but has been established by counter-examples. Such methods of proof are exceptions in literature rather than the rule.
