The authors of the current paper attempt to develop a generalized Neyman- Pearson lemma by means of fuzzy sets in order to solve some problems with vague information in some applications of statistical hypotheses testing, especially in ones with respect to fuzzy decision. They design methods for fuzzy tests based on the generalized Neyman-Pearson criterion, define locally optimum fuzzy tests and give some interesting numerical examples. The results of the paper may be used in many fields with fuzzy information.
