This article deals with some sufficient conditions for the existence of forced periodic oscillations for systems of ordinary differential equations \(x'=f(t,x)\) with Carathéodory right-hand sides that guarantee the local solvability of the corresponding Cauchy problem, but not the uniqueness and the non-local continuation. The main assumption for existence of periodic solutions in this situation is an inequality \((V'(x),f(t,x))\leq a(t,V(x))\), where \(V\) is a positive functional with bounded Lebesgue sets, and \(a(t,r)\) is a function with some ``Osgood properties''. The special case when \(f(t,x)=h(t,x)+g(t)\), \(h(t,x)\) is a homogeneous function of the order \(d>1\), is considered in detail.
