A series \(\sum a_ n\) is said to be summable \(| R,p_ n,\sigma|_ k\), \(k\geq 1\), \(\delta\geq 0\) if \(\sum_{n=1}^ \infty n^{\delta k+k-1} | t_ n-t_{n-1}|^ k<\infty\) where \(t_ n=1/P_ n \sum_{v=0}^ n p_ v s_ v\) (\(P_ n\neq 0\)), the \((R,p_ n)\) mean of \(\{s_ n\}\) generated by the sequence of coefficient \(\{p_ n\}\). In this paper the author has proved one theorem which gives that the condition \(q_ n P_ n/p_ n Q_ n=O(1)\) assumed by Sonouchi is necessary and with another extra condition is also sufficient in order that every \(| R,p_ n,\delta|_ k\) summable series should be \(| R,q_ n,\delta|_ k\), \(k\geq 1\) summable. His result generalizes the previous result due to Bosanquet for \(k=1\) and Bor for \(\delta=0\).
