The zeros of some transcendental functions of transport theory (Q1201769)

Wiener-Hopf and Laplace transform methods for solving transport equations lead to equations requiring locating the zeros of certain integrals over eigenfunctions occurring in papers by \textit{S. R. Dasgupta} [ibid. 56, 13- 20 (1978; Zbl 0389.45012)]. For these zeros, the authors give inequalities and a discussion of the asymptotic behavior.
