The paper consists of one theorem and a few lemmas. Theorem: Let \(P\) be a projective plane and \(X \subset \text{Aut}(P)\) a finite, quasisimple group such that \(X\) is the quotient of a universal group of Lie-type of characteristic \(p\). Suppose \(\alpha\) is a perspectivity on \(P\) normalizing but not centralizing \(X\) and assume \(\alpha\) induces on \(X\) an automorphism of odd prime order \(r\). Then \(X- Z(X)\) contains involutory perspectivities, except possibility in the following cases. (a) \(X = SL(2,q)\), \(q=p^ f\) odd and the central involution is a perspectivity. (b) \(X/Z(X) \simeq PSL(2,q)\), \(q = p^ f\) and (i) \(q = r = 5\) or (ii) \(q\) even and \(r\) divides \(q+1\). (c) \(X/Z(X) \simeq PSL(3,q)\), \(q = 2^{2a}\), \(r=3\). (d) \(X/Z(X) \simeq PSU(3,q^ 2)\), \(q = 2^{2a+1}\), \(r=3\). (e) \(X/Z(X) \simeq {^ 2G_ 2}(q)\), \(q = 3^{2a+1}\), \(r = 3\).
