The authors study the following inclusions: (1) \(g(t)\in x(t)+\int^ t_ 0k(t-s)(Ax(s)+F(s,x(s)))ds\), and (2) \(g(t)\in x(t)+\int^ t_ 0k(t-s)(Ax(s)+\text{ext} F(s,x(s)))ds\) in a Banach space \(X\), where \(A:D(A)\subseteq X\to 2^ X\) is an \(m\)-accretive operator, \(F:T\times X\to 2^ X\) has convex and weakly compact values such that \(x\to F(t,x)\) is \(h\)-continuous, \(X^*\) is uniformly convex. Among other results, it is proved that the solution set of (2) is nonempty and, in fact dense in the solution set of (1). As an application, a ``bang-bang'' theorem is obtained for a class of nonlinear, infinite dimensional control systems.
