Some properties are obtained for a Riemannian manifold satisfying the conditions \[ R(X,Y)Z = k(\langle Y,Z\rangle X - \langle X,Z\rangle Y) + m(\langle Y,Z\rangle\langle X,Q\rangle - \langle X,Z\rangle\langle Y,Q\rangle)U; \] \(R(X,U)U = hX\), \((\forall X,Y,Z \in U^ \perp)\), where \(U\) and \(Q\) are two unit vector fields which are orthogonal. These manifolds are a natural generalization of the spaces of quasi-constant curvature. Their physical background is the cosmological model with heat flow. For instance, the author generalizes the property of a space of quasi-constant curvature to be foliated by a family of totally umbilical hypersurfaces of constant curvature; this property has been given by the reviewer and \textit{M. Popescu} [J. Differ. Geom. 13, 373-383 (1978; Zbl 0421.53033)].
