The author considers the ``exterior Plateau problem'' in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\) with a catenoidal end at infinity. Given a rectifiable Jordan curve \(\Gamma\) contained in the non-simply connected component of \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\backslash\)\{standard catenoid\}. It is proved that there exists a conformal minimal immersion \(U\) of the punctured disk in \(\mathbb{R}^ 2\) such that \(S^ 1\) is mapped onto \(\Gamma\) topologically, 0 is mapped to infinity and \(U\) is a graph near infinity which uniformly approaches a given catenoid at infinity. This generalizes a previous result for minimal immersions with flat ends.
