A thermodynamical two-temperature model of turbulence was given by the authors in two of their previous papers cited. In this paper, the implications of the second law of thermodynamics on a turbulent fluid flow are investigated. Modifications to the known second law statements for one-temperature medium and a new extension are proposed, so that they could be applicable to turbulent fluid flow as well. Several mathematical restrictions from the second law on the constitutive equations for the macroscopic turbulent flow are then derived and discussed.
